Own storefront — per-order IRN

If you sell direct (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, custom storefront), generate IRN per B2B order. Skip IRN for B2C orders below the e-Invoicing threshold (currently INR 5 crore aggregate turnover triggers the mandate).

Returns + refunds

For returned orders within 24 hours of IRN generation, cancel the IRN via the IRP. After 24 hours, issue a credit note referencing the original IRN.
